Now a days machines with powerful specs are available. But still we see many users struggling with hanging startup of windows. Computer or Laptop windows sometimes take huge time to startup and windows loading screen is stuck.
Does this happen with you too? Do you impatiently look on Windows loading circle hanging on startup? Well don’t worry then. I have excellent tips of system tuning which can help you to make windows startup faster.
Steps To Make Windows Startup Faster
Step 1: Open msconfig
Run Windows + R command or open run window and type msconfig.exe. It is actually a utility where you can tune some configuration of Microsoft Windows Core. Don’t worry its very simple check and uncheck utility.
Step 2: Click on Startup Tab
In this utility click on startup tab. You’ll see startup programs which load during windows booting up. You can uncheck the programs which you think are not necessary to load in start. Like For example Google Update Services, Skype or IDM. You can run all these programs later on when you need it. But to speed up windows boot time you need to uncheck maximum programs in this list. For my system I removed everything from this list.
Step 3: Click on Services Tab
Services are the background programs which are running in Windows. First check the box at bottom left which says Hide all Microsoft Services. Because Microsoft Services are required for proper functionality of System. Then after all Microsoft services are hidden then uncheck those services which are not needed. Like Google Update Services or others.
Step 4: Tune Windows Update Settings
From control Panel Go to Windows Update and then click on its settings. Un-check the option which states Install Automatically. Because Windows updates take a lot of and circle keeps running during boot up or shutdown and it feels a pain sometimes. So when your important task is on top priority and windows update is stuck then you’ll be in real problem. It’s better to set this option to manual. When you are free and have plenty of time then you can install all pending updates manually. This will surely help to give a faster startup to window.
